Vanessa Ray was an American actress, singer and model who was a regular on TV series and movies such as Suits. She was an actress and began by taking on minor role and starring as guest actors in TV and stage series. One of her early notable roles in her career was in the soap opera As the World Turns. This show focused on the lives of doctors and lawyers. She became famous for playing Jenny Griffith in Suits, which was a drama about legal issues. Harvey Specter a legal expert and Mike who was his assistant, dealt with cases on this show. It has been praised by reviews as well as numerous award nominations. Other works by her include Blue Bloods, a police drama. The series received mostly positive ratings. Ray was also featured in several movies including the drama film Not Waving But Drowning where she was the main character and the musical comedy film The Rumperbutts where she had the role of a support.
